Networking Tip #120 In June, I published a tip on credibility and reliability. Included was a checklist of 25 items for you to consider. Since then, I have conducted three Club 100 Free Professional Networking meetings, and it amazes me how often items from that checklist come up. By way of explanation, Club 100 Free Professional Networking meetings are knowledge based, and our agenda includes addressing problems that attendees encounter in their business. Leadership, supervisory, sales, executive, customer service and networking issues and questions are given to yours truly to help resolve and answer. The topics regarding ‘over-promise’ and failure to ‘qualify’ prospects leads the list, followed by branding, perceptions, self-promotion, poor communication skills, establishing value, poor closing skills etc. Our Free “Club 100 Professional Networking” meetings cover these and other problems facing solopreneurs, employers, employees and business owners. We attempt to provide ‘on the spot’ solutions during our networking meetings, but some of these issues require more attention. In many cases, our behavioral soft skills coaching is required.
