Networking Tip #119 Are you starting to see more business? Our fondest hope is that you are starting to show an upward trend in your business as some consumers are coming back into the market place for goods and services. This is happening in spite of an unemployment rate of 9.5% - the highest rate in 26 years. We are seeing an upswing here at DBSi Club 100 Learn & Grow with 5 new clients in the past week. We are presently consulting with and training 16 clients. Our newsletter has added two dozen entrepreneurs/companies in the same period and our readership percentage is quite high according to one of our trusted advisors. For those who are experiencing little or no growth, perhaps you should consider using our VVS or Vocal Value Statement, lowering your self promotion and using "outcomes" instead of features and benefits. More on this in future newsletters. Soft skills or people skills training provided in our Trust Based Behavioral Style Selling programs has caught on with entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and companies. People in business realize that product knowledge or expertise in services you provide does not necessarily move potential prospects and customers to buy.
